Isn’t it irony to see Malaysian Chinese being bullied by Malay political party (UMNO) which claimed to be “weak”? It is said that this is caused by Chinese servility nature!

For thousands of years, Chinese were under the control of a powerful emperor. They obey and continue to obey him even if he is a tyrant. The next scenario happens is the tyrant being beaten down someone who we known as the “true son of heaven”; and after some period of time, the people are under the control of another tyrant and continue to obey him again. The situation remains even in 21st century, people are still obeying they ruler even if they are discriminated, exploited and suppressed.

China is a large country, with land area of more than one million km2. Yet, Chinese still failed to defend themselves from being conquered by the nomadic Mongol centuries ago. Next, they were under the control of the Japanese army and the Eight-Power Allied Forces decades ago. Coward ruler had repeatedly apologized, giving up part of the territories and paying compensation to the intruders? What do we actually benefit from by doing so?

From such a long period of world history, have we ever seen any powerful nation which was established with only the adoption of "consultations" and "compromise”? No! A nation would always being suppressed by others when they are not defending themselves well. Hoping for other to not bully you is just like begging for alms!

Malaysian Chinese are not useless. If not because of Chinese, Malaysia would never exist today! The problems is lack of a national hero among Malaysian Chinese and the existent of too many "Hanjian"(traitors) who exploit Chinese right.

Nowadays, the world looks different from it was before. It has no longer appeared as a globe. The world now looks flat because of the vast development of the Internet. Even the article you are reading now are part of the Internet. Through the Internet, we now can do anything we can’t do openly before!

Why should we support Namawee? Well, it’s because Namawee is the Malaysian Chinese who dare to tell the truth! I’m pretty sure that every Malaysian Chinese understand, or even experience the problems mentioned in Namawee’s MTV before. Usually, we are only allowed to complain about these problems secretly in and only in chinese kopitiam!

No one dares to tell the truth because of Malaysia "Internal Security Act". According to the act, police force has the right to detain anyone without reason. They would release you after a few months if you claim that you were just talking nonsense or if someone has bribed them.
However, if you still think that you have an important message to inform the public, they’ll lock you up in jail forever, preventing you from doing so.

This is more horrible than both CIA and KGB. The only difference is CIA act secretly while police in Malaysia act in vice versa way!

What do we support? Anti-police corruption, anti-ethnic hegemony, religious freedom, fighting for rights Chinese deserve, fighting for the welfare of Chinese education, the status of network freedom, freedom to be creative, freedom of speech!

We have too many things to support and to fight for; and the only way to accomplish everything is to have an open and fair government which respect for human rights and constitution.
What is more important, we must also have people with civic awareness, and mutual respect who dare to tell the truth.

Why do we try to pass this message to Chinese? The answer is very simple, but most people don’t have gut to answer it, they rather try to avoid it!

1. Malaysian armed force, police force, political parties, national service, state agencies and even the reserved forces are under the control of non-Chinese. The question is, have you ever heard of a thief who steals to lock up other thieves in jail for the police or a villain punishes other villains for the hero?

2. We are treated unequally in matters such as religion, education, rights, etc. So, is it alright for us to help and protect those who exploit us?

3. Never expect that there will be another Lincoln in Malaysia. Yes, whites are indeed better than blacks in almost everything; politics, education, technology, culture. The liberation of blacks happened simply because of the existent of strong compassion for the weak and the feeling of sympathetic among the whites. In Malaysia, the reality is that Chinese are far better than others in education, technology, culture and economy at the same time they are being exploited, suppressed and treated with injustice. Ironically, supreme group in Malaysia are bullied by people who claimed to be ‘weak’ in every aspect.

How to support? It’s very simple! Try not to ignore the problems. Let the world aware of problems face by Malaysian Chinese through all sorts of media.

The way we recommend here is just one of our approaches. We respect others’ ideas and point of views; but when view from the perspective of all human, there’s only one ideology, which is all human are born equal. Under the sky, everyone should be treated fairly.

From the Chinese traditionally perspective, what we want is just a peaceful and happy environment for our future generations. We never wish for a society which discriminate, exploit and oppress a certain group of people.

Yes, it is possible for you to gain wealth by giving up your dignity, betraying your own nation, exploiting others, etc. but can you guarantee that your future generations will live under peaceful and happy environment forever?

Even before you left this world, there’s a possibility for you to see how your next generations end up suffering for what you did.

If you are still single, maybe you won’t understand the importance family values. Alright, maybe you have a lot of money now, or a lovely family, or a fairly profitable business, or an outstanding academic result, or a fairly satisfied job, or a beloved; but who know how long would these last?

If this country continue to being corrupted, who know what might happen in the future. You might be arrested for saying something you shouldn’t talk about in public, your business might overthrown by a big corporation who benefit from unequal policy, those with outstanding results might fail to further their study oversea because of financial problem, you might lost your job because of the emergence of unfair policy, crime activities such as looting, rape, triad organizations, etc. might happen frequently as the police lost their power, unequal of distribution of wealth might happen. What is terrible, you might lose your loved one or beloved.
Wake up people! Don’t ignore the problems we face and act like nothing is happening. Please, pay more attention on our community welfare and do something to fight for our rights.
